These rules for Conservatory Building Regulations apply only to England and Wales.

Scotland have tighter regulations including (but not limited to) conservatory size, structure and thermal efficiency.

It is always a good idea to check with your local Building Control department before building your conservatory to ensure that you comply with any necessary Building Regulations that may be required.

If your conservatory is to be built close to drains or sewers, you may also require Water Authority approval.
