August has arrived, and with it, the last month of summer for the year.

What better way to prepare for the colder, darker and drearier months than by installing a cosy new conservatory?

If you need inspiring, then you’re in luck. Here we’d like to celebrate a project we worked on with one of our valued customers.

August’s Customer of the Month is Mr Ian Barden, from Ashford.

Mr Barden had very specific needs, as he wanted a conservatory that wouldn’t interfere with a drain cover that was part of his property.

Building a conservatory over a drain is no easy task. So the measurements needed to be spot on. We got them from him, and made a few drawings based on what we thought we could provide.

Mr Barden was happy with the designs, and we proceeded to build the components. And we’re delighted to say that everything worked out perfectly.

The Project Technical Specifications

After looking at all the options, Mr Barden choose to buy a P-Shaped Edwardian conservatory with dwarf walls.

In addition, the conservatory was built using white PVCu.

The extension also came with a 10 year guarantee on all parts.

The Installation Process

This was a DIY project, like most of our conservatories.

However, Mr Palmer chose to hire a local builder to construct the conservatory, as some of our customers choose to do.

Others prefer to do it themselves. Do it whichever way you choose – you’re still saving money!

Both Mr Palmer and the builder were happy with the final result, and so are we!
