Conservatory Land is delighted to announce that its June Customer of the Month is Mr Ian Hamilton.
We’re very pleased with the work we’ve been able to do with Mr Hamilton, and are certain he’ll be enjoying the benefits of his new DIY Edwardian style conservatory for years to come.
After seeing one of our ads in a national newspaper, Mr Hamilton didn’t want to miss this opportunity, and instantly contacted us to see what we could do for him.
We discussed his wants and needs, before determining the exact specifications. We then got to creating the conservatory extension drawing, and building the components.
The Project Technical Specifications

Mr Hamilton requested an Edwardian-style conservatory, using the excellent ConservaBase.
“He requested Standard Glass and Opal Polycarbonate, and White PVCu and when he received his free quotation, frankly, he couldn’t say no to this.”
The dimensions were as follows:
- Dimensions – 3500mmx3000mm (3.5mx3m) (10.5 sq. m)
- Dwarf wall height – 600mm (60 cm)
And, of course, the extension came with a 10 year guarantee on all parts.
The Installation Process
As with most of our conservatories, this was a DIY project.
Mr Hamilton constructed the extension himself – and in doing so was able to make incredible savings.
Looking at the pictures, we can tell he’s done an amazing job.
It doesn’t look any different to how a professional builder would do it – which is the great benefit of our conservatories!
Mr Hamilton said: “I am delighted with what I have completed.
“I’m very pleased with my conservatory. Good instructions, and all staff were very pleasant to deal with.
“I would recommend this company to anyone as first class. Really easy product to install and the quality was exactly as I was after.”
We’re delighted that Mr Hamilton seems incredibly satisfied with his purchase.
