Our Customer of the Month for February 2024 is Mr Atkinson in North Waltham, Basingstoke. His Edwardian conservatory is an excellent example of how you can make use of garden space to build an area to accommodate a growing family.

Mr Atkinson and his wife didn’t use the front garden that much, and now, with a baby child, they’re really enjoying their new area. “It’s a space that our child, or maybe children in the future, can grow up in and continue to use.”

Watch Mr Atkinson’s video testimonial below to discover how ConservatoryLand has transformed his home.

Mr Atkinson chose ConservatoryLand because the prices were more affordable than some of the other quotes he had received. Not only that, he enjoyed the fact that he could bespoke the design online.

After using our instant quote engine to design his conservatory style, Mr Atkinson got the quote quickly and spoke to one of our helpful sales team members, who helped him organise the process.

The result? A modern, sun-filled made-to-measure Edwardian conservatory that enhances the size of his home. With sleek lines and a pitched roof, this style looks like a natural extension of Mr Atkinson’s home and is a cost-effective way to add comfort for his family all year round.

Building Mr Atkinson’s conservatory

While our conservatories are suitable for DIY assembly, Mr Atkinson used our Approved Installers—a network of independent professionals vetted by ConservatoryLand—which reassured him.

For Mr Atkinson, it was a no-brainer to use the Approved Installers. They turned up on time and made the process easy from start to finish.

For the roof, his choice was Opal Polycarbonate with glass windows that help reduce heat build-up for a pleasant and comfortable living environment, even in hot weather.

Thanks to his new conservatory, Mr Atkinson and his wife are making use of the garden space they didn’t use before. For him, it’s lovely being able to open the double doors and walk out into the big new space.

Now, they can also use the space indoors and have an area that will be used for the growing family. The conservatory is so spacious that it includes a living room with two sofas, a TV for the parents, and an area for children’s toys.

For Mr Atkinson, building a conservatory means a change in the life of the entire family. “It just feels like it will be our family room forever. We’d recommend ConservatoryLand to everyone”, he says.
